On 2025-04-29, Tony Grosinger and John Vechey met and decided to proceed with the current OrcasHub Events section and pause on investing in Gancio. After putting together a detailed comparison, it was decided that the amount of work required was similar on the two projects, but Tony's familiarity with OrcasHub, and the user interface being closer to our end goal were benefits that gave it a slight edge.

• Discuss design for collections | places
  • Proposal to have places be to the right (on desktop) or below (mobile) and have collections not be tied to place
• Show images in embeds for better styling
• Update social share image.
• Limit tags to specific users
  • Maybe this can be done with the custom javascript functionality?

• Embed into OrcasHub, replacing current events section.
